| Thallus off-white to pale fawn, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata black, conspicuous, numerous, sulcate, sessile, with a lateral thalline margin, straight, curved or sinuous, usually simple, sometimes branched, 1–3 (–4) mm long, 0.2–0.3 mm wide. Proper exciple laterally carbonised. Hymenium 100–125 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly biseriate, transversely 9–12 (–14)-locular, (30–) 36–50 × 7–9 (–10) µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |
